THE ROLE

As an Operations Manager at BIZBLOQS you are responsible for providing leadership to the Application Management and Customer Support Departments, as well as being Deputy to the local President/Managing Director of the Philippines office. This is a ‘hands-on’ role for a professional with a strong IT Development background with proven Management skills and the ability to lead and coordinate across all departments to ensure the efficient running of day to day operations. You will take functional direction and work closely with the Chief Operations Manager and Heads of Engineering and Customer Support based in our Head Office, Netherlands.


TASKS INCLUDE:

  • 1. Leading the software engineering/Application Management team in researching, debugging and fixing current solutions.
  • 2. Building and testing custom solutions.
  • 3. Creating informative reports and dashboards for our customers
  • 4. Documenting custom processes.
  • 5. Discussing the custom processes with project managers.
  • 6. Assisting with designing suitable custom solutions.
  • 7. Leading the Customer support Team to ensure our customers receive timely and effective resolution of issues raised via the ticketing system
  • 8. Acting as assistant MD for the Philippines office


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a Software Developer/Application Manager or similar.
  • Experience & interest in low level coding platforms.
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL query tools, preferably MS SQL Server.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective team-player.
  • Highly developed customer service attitude.
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented.
  • Efficient and possessing excellent time-management skills
  • “Can do” proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Operational processes (production and logistics) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of report designs (preferably with SSRS and SQL Server reporting services) is an advantage.

SALARY from 110,000 PHP
