THE ROLE

The Senior Developer is responsible for leading a small team of front-end and back-end developers who are engaged in designing and developing business web applications using web technologies such as TYPESCRIPT, REACT, NODE.js and Next.js for developing new user-facing features, determining the structure and design of web pages, building reusable codes, optimizing page loading times, and creating web pages using a variety of markup languages.

TASKS INCLUDE

• 1. Work with the local Philippines office, HQ in the Netherlands and UK office.
• 2. Design, develop, and test software by utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, programming technologies, and adopting the prescribed team approach and standards.
• 3. Work within a cross-functional team including developers, testers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
• 4. Engage actively with the Development Team by sharing ideas, assisting team members where practical, and participating in code reviews.
• 5. Continue improving depth of understanding in the respective applications managed by the team, and of the business context/rules behind them.
• 6. Performs any other duties that may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• The ideal candidate should have at least 6-8 years of experience in a comparable role.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and track record in leading a development team
• SCRUM Master experience is a must
• General C# Development and ASP.Net
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in TYPESCRIPT/JAVASCRIPT, REACT, NODE.js, NEXT.js and Angular
• Unit testing experience using Playwrite or Cyprus is an advantage
• Experience in Xamarin, Azure, Maui, Docker, Cloud Technology also an advantage
• Graduate of Computer Engineering or equivalent.
